[Update 2024.01.01]
Added new parts upon request:
1 x 1 x 4, 1 x 1 x 6 and 1 x 1 x 8
Gridfinity inserts with individual covers for small screws and parts.
Mostly started this to create an organized storage for my M1.6, M2.0 and M2.5 screws. I wanted fast access and organized storing both. So far it's always been a pain in the a@@. These small parts need to be stored in separate containers that you can close individually, otherwise they mix sooner or later, not to mention the possibility when you accidentally push a container over the edge of the workbench. So I made a labeling system a while ago and stored in zip lock bags. That was good for storing them separately, but it's not an easy access.
I also started to color code my tools and screws a long ago, like that:
yellow: M1.6 screws, 1.5mm allen key, 5.5mm hex driver, T10 torx key
Red: M2.0 screws, 2mm allen key, 6mm hex driver, T15 torx key
Blue: M2.5 screws, 2.5mm allen key, 7mm hex driver, T20 torx key
White: M3 screws, 3mm allen key, 8mm hex driver T25 torx key
Green: M4 screws, 4mm allen key, T27 torx key
Orange: M5 screws, 5mm allen key, T30 torx key
If you're into things like that it's worth to try, it keeps the working environment much less sufferable. (I'm always making a mess around me, but this way at least it's a lot easier and faster to clean up later)
Also I added a pdf file that contains the sizes of all different shape storage sockets these inserts have.
Printed from Devil Design Petg, 3-3 top and bottom solid layers, 3 perimeters, 15% gyroid infill.
It's a parametric system and a work in progress, much more to come. Enjoy!
