HeeWing T1 Ranger Hatch/Cover Latch - Original Function

This is a replacement for the original T1 Ranger VTOL/FW top latch that I found to be quite fragile and easily broke after only a few actuations. 

This latch functions in an identical manner to the original with it being securely held in place but removable with a small amount of force. The geometry from the original has been mirrored on top so the fore point of the latch can be used as a CG indicator just like the original.

This model was printed in ABS but will function well in other polymers. The latch can either be free floating, glued in place to the foam, glued to the base plate or secured with an M3x12 screw and nut to avoid any modification of the airframe.

I increased the gap (9mm) to reduce the latching force for ABS however if you find that you would like more or less, I have included the STEP and SLDPRT files for modification!
