Plant Watering Straw for Vase Mode

Sometimes you need to water a plant from the bottom. Lots of plants, especially trees, benefit from having dry soil near the top of the plant to encourage deep root growth. This is a simple solution. 3 Sizes. Print in Vase Mode with 0 bottoms and 0 tops.

If you want a wider nozzle, just increase the X and Y. If you don't like the length options you can play with the Z but the funnel will distort a bit (very little effect).

First time you insert it into the soil press all the way down, then raise it up 10-20mm. It might drain slowly the first couple uses due to soil impacted into the straw. This will clear.

DEC 29th 2023 Update: I added a larger straw with a bevel and a slope, these are for use in Large Yogurt Containers. If you print it super fast it will leave some almost invisible gaps in the layers, allowing the straw to “weep” a little, which is intentional.
