well, if you use heat, the gear can be removed with pliers, so do that instead.

Most HRS-550 DC Motors come with a gear on its shaft, in most cases you just want a simple shaft that you can attach a coupling or similar to it, this part allows you to do just that!

i included screw holes to lock the adapter to the motor but in my case the fit is good without the screws, you might want to make the hole a bit bigger or smaller if you need too.
