I have installed a watering system all around my garden so that, during spring and summer, I can water automatically at night.
Everything is managed thanks to a Gardena® multicontrol water computer and an automatic water distributor that deals water over five different zones according to a schedule I set.
When cold days come, I store the watering devices in a shed but the hoses remain outdoor, lying on the soil. I just wanted to prevent mud and bugs from crawling inside.
So here are two plugs just for this. One for big 19mm diameter hose connector. And a smaller one for 13mm models.
The plugs mimic a male model and they click in the female connectors just like a regular male unit.
Just to be clear: they are not supposed to prevent water from flowing out, They are just made to keep dirt out.
