Wiper shift

Most of the cars have wipers that leave gap on the windscreen that is not wiped. You can change the angle of the wiper but it will not align with the windscreen side (so it does not wipe the bottom of the windscreen).

This printed pieces allows to keep the original angle but allows wiping to the edge of the windscreen.

There are 2 wiper hooks of width 9 mm. The bend is 7 or 11 mm. You can adjust it in the OpenSCAD file. Also change the bolt size and width according to your needs.

Material

Print in ASA (UV resistant) or PC etc. Don't use PLA - it will melt and bend. PETG could be usable but can bend over time. Use black or dark color which lasts longer under UV light

Assembly

1. cut the center of the wiper
2. insert the printed part
3. secure with the bolt
4. put on the wiper's hook

Bolt is used to make the connection much stronger. Typical wiper uses 4 mm rod so if you drill it out you can use 4 mm bolt. Some wipers have 5 and/or 6 mm hole(s). The thicker bolt the higher strength but 4 mm is enough. Use nylon insert nut and/or spring washer to avoid dissasembly by vibration. Or use threadlocker. Stainless steel bolt/nut is recommended.
