After a long hiatus we recently pulled out the Collector's Edition of Castles of Mad King Ludwig and were immediately reminded of what a great game it is. We love @Flashhawk's auction trays that make manipulating rooms, money, and swans (which we think are pretty useless) so much easier. But when we put the game back in the box, it immediately hit me that we need a better solution than trying to squeeze them into the box—and bending them ☹
So here it is. Nothing fancy, just a box with a lid and compartments for the different pieces. I mark it as a “remix”, simply to link it to the auction trays.
The lid slides in and has a nub to hold it in place. To empty, just flip it over and toss everything out. Nothing special about printing it, just about any settings will do. Print the lid with the text down. I printed everything on a Prusa XL with a 0.6 mm nozzle and ended up with some seam holes on the front cutout you see in the picture.
