What is This?

The Logitech C920 is a fine camera, but the tripod mount in the bottom of the monitor clamp is quite unpractical when mounting the camera in tight spaces such as an enclosure.

This printed part replaces the original display bracket and offers a really compact way of mounting the C920 on a tripod or, which is what I designed it for, my enclosure mount for tripod heads.

Assembly

Printing the part should not be a problem, but removing the original display clamp from the camera is a bit finnicky. You will need a PH0 screwdriver, some patience and this instruction video which will tell you what to do.

You will have to apply some force for removing the microphone covers and will probably scratch your camera in the process. If that's not an option for you, better don't try.

The hole in the bottom of the part is the place where a ¼" UNC 20 het-set insert is supposed to go. Feel free to remix the model to include a threaded hole, but I personally wanted something a bit more durable than that.
