Ioniq 5 Plate Mount #1

The OEM plate mount for the Ioniq 5 is not designed to fit the common sized NSW plates. This is a replacement to mount the standard “NSW Slimline” plate fitted with a black plastic surround. (375mm x 100mm, including the surround.)

This particular design is for when your ham-fisted dealer decides to drill two more holes in the bumper above the existing 5 holes to mount the plate. I’ve deliberately designed it to cover the top holes, but as you can see the two bottom holes are exposed. I’ll fix that later. Maybe.

If your dealer has been kind enough not to drill any extra holes, this plate mount may be more to your liking. 

I've left the six holes along the top that align with the holes on the actual plate blocked with a thin layer. Just push through the holes you want and leave the rest sealed. 

Due to it's width, this is printed in two halves. The 3mf file contains both halves, joined by a dovetail. It probably should be printed in PETG to cope with being left outdoors. I also used 5 perimeters for added strength. You will need support for the two bolt holes. A bit of Superglue to keep the two halves together probably isn't a silly idea.
