The Bookshelf Mountable Headphones Hanger is a handy accessory that allows you to keep your headphones organized and within easy reach.

This model is designed to be mounted to a bookshelfs vertical stands ranging from 18 mm thick up to 44mm thick. It features a simple and elegant design that will complement any décor. It is Ikea Kallax compatible.

Headphones

This design accommodates a wide range of standard headphone bridge sizes, with a holder platform width of 40 mm. This ensures compatibility with most headphones on the market.

For extra large bridges, there is long variant for headphones with up to 55mm wide bridges.

Printing tips

  • No supports required
  • Low infill (10%)
  • Compatible with PLA and PETG filaments
  • Recommended layer height: 0.15 - 0.20
  • Recommended nozzle size: 0.4

    • Variant for Shelf up to 18mm thick and headphones bridge up to 40mm

    • Variant for Shelf up to 22mm thick and headphones bridge up to 40mm
    • Variant for Shelf up to 22mm thick and headphones bridge up to 55mm
    • Variant for Shelf up to 44mm thick and headphones bridge up to 40mm
    • Variant for Shelf up to 44mm thick and headphones bridge up to 55mm
  • Headphone_clamp_bolt:
    • Variant 15 mm long: When your shelve is tight to clamp body
    • Variant 18 mm long: When your shelve is almost tight to clamp body
    • Variant 22 mm long: When your shelve is somewhere close to clamp body
    • Variant 32 mm long: When your shelve is very tiny and distant from clamp body

Instructions

  1. Print the two parts of the model.
  2. Attach the headphone clamp body to the shelf using the headphone clamp bolt long.
  3. Slide your headphones onto the headphone clamp body.

Printing threads

While the thread is designed to be printed without supports, employing variable layer height in both the initial and final sections of the thread can significantly enhance the printing outcome. This targeted approach effectively reduces instances of filament accumulation on the edges, preventing the formation of unsightly globules.
