Waveshare 7 inch HDMI LCD (H) case

Buttons and ports are easily available without the need for tools. All plugs, cables and ports fit perfectly into their slots.

Designed to be screwed to a smallrig 1598 cheese plate. (optional)

Make sure your printer is properly calibrated before printing. Especially with CoreXY printers where a scewed gantry would make assembling this almost impossible (ask me how I know).

old design:
- 6* 8mm M3 screws to mount the smallrig plate
- 6* M3 screw washers to mount the smallrig plate
- 4* 12mm M3 screws for the top plate
- 10* ≤6mm tall M3 threaded inserts
- few pieces of sticky foam

new design:
- 4* 8mm M3 screws to mount the smallrig plate
- 4* M3 screw washers to mount the smallrig plate
- 4* 12mm M3 screws for the top plate
- 4* ≤6mm tall M3 threaded inserts
- few pieces of sticky foam

I recommend adding extra foam pieces on top of the threaded inserts and the plastic standoff below the display assembly to reduce the risk of shorted circuits and add further support to the display assembly. 
They have enough clearance but sit right below critical components. Make sure the inserts are NOT sticking out above the plastic!

Old design has very lose lateral tolerances and the display assembly can flop around in the case; Installing some extra foam pieces on top of the pcb next to the screw holes alleviates the issue.
New design should have a much neater fit but I have not verified the updated design yet (I'm still using the old one as seen in the photos).

Support material should not be needed for the new design, but depending on slicer settings will be needed for the old top plate.
Any material choice should be fine (You might be pushing your luck with TPU tho :D ).
