I wanted to print a sturdy tensegrity table but didn't want to deal with tightening all ropes separately. So I designed one with easy adjust mechanism.

I've published 100mm and 130mm diameter versions. Let me know if you want it in any other size.

Print Instructions

Print a specified amount of models. The required amount for each model is included in the model's title.

No support required.

For the “Nut” and “Holder” models print settings don't really matter.

The “Plate” model should be printed with at least 3 bottom/top layers.

The “Stand” model should be printed with as many perimeters as possible (preferably the whole model should consist of perimeters) as it bears most of the load.

Assembly Instructions

  1. Connect two stands with a rope.
  2. Feed the line through the holes in the plates.
  3. Place holders and nuts on the threads (nut on top of the holder). Don't tighten them yet.
  4. Tighten one end of the line.
  5. Put all stands and plates in the final position.
  6. Pull on the free end of the line until tightened (the table doesn't have a lot of give when slightly pressing on it with equally distributed force). Then tighten the second end of the line.
  7. Level out the table, then tighten the remaining two nuts.

If instructions are unclear reach out to me in the comments or direct message and I will clarify them.
