Hi Makers!

I had the idea to create a printer enclosure for quite a long time and after a few months of use with my MK3S I finally started this project.
It took me a few months from design to build-up and finalization but it was not a continuous process, do not worry! Even if it is never finished completely, it can be released now for those of you who search components to build their own or make a replica of it.

This page has to be considered as the index of the different components. Each component will have its own dedicated page for the sake of clarity! (links below)

I did obviously not extruded aluminium profile by myself. Pre-cut & ready to assemble kit comes from RatRig.
I took the 60x60x60cm (inner dimension) with two doors which is perfect for a Prusa MK3S. Components are not dimensionned espacially for this specific enclosure size, so larger enclosure can still make use of those components.

Original requirements of the enclosure are:

  • Touchscreen to control the printer and other components of the enclosure (LEDs, Fans, PSU, ...)
  • Automatic temperature control (Sensors, fans control, air intake)
  • PSU outside enclosure
  • Independant power supply for equipment (LED, FAN, Raspberries Pi, relays,....)
  • Efficient & quick release printer cabling

Good looking design (but you know, No accounting for taste.... :-p ) Fusion360 Models are available upon request for remixes.
I do not provide custom made designs (Fusion360 is free, make your own remix, it is so rewarding!)
