This is a crosscut sled for a small bandsaw. I originally designed this sled to be made from ⅛" laser cut plywood, though the parts could also be 3D printed. The attached PDF file includes a layout of all parts for laser cutting.
To assemble the sled, make 1 each of “Rail” and “Bottom Plate”, 2 of “Back Plate”, and 4 of “Alignment Pin”. If 3D printing the parts, make 1 of “Back Plate - 2X Thick” instead. Use a suitable glue to fasten the parts together as shown in the images
The “Alignment Pin” is just a ¼" cylindrical pin, ¼" long, used to align parts with each other. It could be 3D printed, or a wooden dowel or other cylindrical stock could be used.
