This housing uses carbon air filters commonly found in Kenmore and LG refrigerators to filter the air exiting the back of the Creality K1 3D printer. Installation is a breeze utilizing two of the fan's mounting screws and provides much-needed filtration of the air.
Step 1: Open the glass door on the printer and use a hex tool to remove two of the screws from the fan.
Step 2: Hold the housing in place with the filter opening facing up and screw the housing into the case using the two screws removed in Step 1.
Step 3: Slide the filter into place from the top with the word “FRONT” facing out.
Step 4: Power on your printer and enjoy fresh air in your room.
