I wanted to utilize better the space I have to display the model cars I've built over the years. I also wanted to work within the constraints of the MK3 printer, which meant parts couldn't be larger than I could print in that volume.
So, out of those constraints came a module system of vertical supports and horizontal ramps. These press-fit together and allow, in theory, for unlimited stacking, but I'm only brave enough to stack three high. To that end, I designed a piece you can print for the topmost display position.
I predominantly focus on 1/24 and 1/25 scale models thus, these accommodate the scale.
In the picture you can see a different ramp design, I abandoned the diamond pattern because it added an inordinate amount of time to printing.
