A simple remote featuring a 3x4 numeric matrix keypad. The remote uses a QT Py ESP32-S2 for WiFi connectivity, and uses a tilt-ball switch and the deep sleep feature of the QT Py ESP-32 to automatically wake the remote when picked up. A 500 mAh LiPo rechargeable battery can provide anywhere from a few days to a few weeks of use between charges, depending on usage patterns. Designs are included for a version that uses a breadboard NeoPixel, as well as a version that uses a through-hole LED. Several variations of the top of the NeoPixel version are provided, with different shapes for the NeoPixel diffuser.
