Bambu P1S & X1C Spool Holder Adapter for Wider Spools. Clips on - No Tools Required

I was disappointed to find that the Bambu P1S single filament holder is not long enough to accept some filament spools, in particular some Prusa spools. I didn’t want to screw anything permanently to the printer, so designed a clip on adapter that doesn’t require any tools or fasteners. I added a spacer to keep the spool away from the filament buffer.

My spool adapter can handle spools that have a 52.5mm bore and up to 82mm wide.

I printed with PLA at .2mm layer height up on end with snug supports for the two slots.
