Cycling Shoe Ratchet Strap Repair

The ratchet strap holder is a small sewn in plastic component that ages and becomes brittle.  This is a TPU replacement that still offers flex, is thick enough to allow riveting without splitting (can also use Chicago Screws).  This will allow you to continue using your shoes for years to come.  

If you use cycling shoes, you know that finding a pair that fits true to sizing is a challenge.  If you change brands, you absolutely need to try before you buy because of the variability in fit.  I've been through this enough that I will do anything to preserve a good pair of shoes that fit well.  

These shoes have about 11000 miles on them and I am heartbroken thinking about parting with them, especially considering replacing them would cost between 100 and 200 USD.
