ive used this since Jan 2024 and the silicon band finally came off this would be really great if i can find a silicone tube that would squeese over the bearing without a seem i think it would last forever very hard to get silicon strips glued i also used real springs
had a bunch i bought on amazon worked really well andit just finnaly came off after i beat it up if i can find a tube that i can cut and make fit ill post it here
i have sanded bearings and used a few different glues simple super glue mitreapel
i can't get anything to stick to the silicone baking sheet i even bought a couple of different ones any advice ?
@Gene_48350 a guy who did the mod on his XL glued it by applying PERMABOND POP (primer) to his piece of silicone and applied PERMABOND 105 (special cyanolycrate glue for difficult plastics) to the bearing. I hope you'll succeed...
@Renba ordered thanks
I think the idea is good. 2 thoughts, 1. doesnt the tools meld the petg roller when parked(inmean even trough the silikon?). 2
Why not use 3 d printed spring. I wouldnt make it helical, but flat. But should work good in this case
Thanks for the comments, this has been updated, the PETG bearings have been replaced by ball bearings and has been working successfully for 1 month now without any deformation and sealing the nozzles perfectly. (edited)
