200mm Fan Front with IO ports and Power Button for Fractal Node 304

A custom front panel for the Node 304 case to support a 200mm fan, power button, and the IO ports that came with the case.

Parts:

• Modified Fractal Design Node 304 case
• Noctua NF-A20 PWM 200mm fan
• M3x12 or M3x16 Hex Socket Flat Head screws with M3 nuts for attaching the fan
• M3 H6 threaded inserts
• 12mm power button
• Screws from original IO board
• M3x20 screws for attaching the front to the case
• Screw clamps from this model for attaching the front to the case

Modification of the front of the case is necessary. See the pictures for how I modified mine (Also cut out the area along the red line to allow for the cables from the buttons and IO ports to pass through).

I had additional screws on the front to hold the fan in, but found that it was hard enough getting the nuts on the back of the countersunk screws along the edges and would have been impossible for the inner screw holes, so most of them have been removed in the uploaded version.

I had to drill out a larger hole for my power button, but I have increased the size of the hole to hopefully accommodate the 12mm power button better.

I have attached a piece of mesh to the front using magnets to catch dust and for ease of cleaning.

I printed in PETG with .2mm layer heights on a Prusa MK3S+. The corners of my front panel curled as I couldn't fit any brim due to the model taking the entire print bed. The print took about 14 hours.

Combined models in order to have a 200mm fan, power button, and IO ports.
