This is a quite simple but still cool looking robot … I found this robot design from the Artist “GeppMultiverse” on DeviantArt. Unfortunaltely this exact image is no longer online. But you can check the other awesom art of him/her.
You might know already that I am far from beeing an artist of any kind … So I asked “unipixel” over on Fiverr to make a 3D model based on that image for me. And of course he did and came up with a great result. So the credit for modeling the robot goes to “unipixel”: https://fiverr.com/s/k628Nk
Since I ordered it I am a kind of owner of the model. So that's posted as my model.
This was the very first serious multi color print on my 5 toolhead XL.
I continued to print all my multi part projects with simple holes in the surfaces and use wooden plugs to align and connect them. That worked out pretty well for me and is a kind of preferred workflow. This way I can keep flat surfaces for easy printing … Supports are needed nevertheless … I am getting better in cutting and placing the objects, but still …
I know that the print settings are quite tough, but I like to have my figures quite sturdy. I include the splitted model as well as the original stl file. So you can split / place / print it to your preferences.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
