Wall mount for Harbor Freight clear stacking bin

Overview

HF clear stacking bins cheap and store a lot of stuff but they also take up a significant amount of space so I designed what is basically a French cleat that the rear lip of the bin sits in and can be mounted to the wall. They are optimized to be strong but print quickly without supports using minimal amount of filament (~24 g per cleat). 

The bins are easily lifted off the cleat but stay put otherwise. 

Make sure to use drywall anchors when mounting to the wall (I 3D printed some). 

Print settings

• 3-4 walls 
• 15-20% infill (Gyroid)
• PETG or HTPLA recommended
• No supports

Capacity

I haven't extensively tested but I would not load these with more than a few pounds into these. The mounts are pretty sturdy but the lip at the back of the box will flex with larger loads and can result in the bin detaching from the wall.

• 2x Drywall anchors (up to you but I used these
• 2x M4 x 30 ish self tapping screw
