Description: 

The Garmin Instinct Charging Dock V2 is a innovative solution for Garmin Instinct watches which do not come with a charging dock. I was bothered by the fact that my Garmin Instinct had to be kept side ways while charging it and the watch face was not visible.
Before designing my own I went through a couple of designs online, most of them require me to fasten the watch straps and then place the watch for charging; if you are as lazy as I am you will agree that it is a tedious task.

I have designed an adapter/dock which enables the watch to be placed as is, without fastening the strap. 

The design is simple and can be printed in an hour. The supports are minimal and can be removed easily using pliers. It can be placed on any flat surface and any doubled sided adhesive tape can be used to secure it to the surface.

There are 3 cable passage options, based on your plug point location you can select the respective file, (refer the photo)

Print Setting: 

Profile: 0.2mm Quality

Infill: 15%

Perimeters: 2

Supports: Choose “For support enforcers only” and select the area shown below.

On browsing, I found that the charging cables are the same for most of the Garmin watches. In theory, this design can be used as a charging dock for most of the Garmin watches. Do let me know if you do try with other models. Would love to hear your thoughts on this.
