This is a two-box set that completely fills out the available space between AMS first stage feeders. First, the boxes are lengthened (vertically taller than the original) to fully fill out the vertical space. The second box is a shorter variant that fills up the space behind the first box, giving you even more volume for desiccant while eliminating empty space for the boxes to rattle around.
I printed the original with PETG and the lid wasn't held tightly enough and would pop off easily. This version replaces it with a tighter-tolerance, deeper, dovetail slot.
Print both boxes & lids. Fill with desiccant. Close lids (lids are identical). Lower the taller box (with tab towards back) between the first stage feeders and push it forward against the front of the AMS. Then, lower the shorter box (with tab towards front suggested) behind it. All without removing any spools.
Many, many thanks to hunkoys for designing and sharing the original model and Fusion 360 design file. It is a great design and the design file is very cleanly done. I'm also sharing the modified/remixed .f3d design files here.
The author remixed this model.
