This model is a drum sander that holds a 3" x 11" sandpaper cut from an 9" x 11" sheet.  The drum is a two-piece wedge that securely holds the sandpaper.  The sandpaper only needs to be clamped at one end.  You can either leave it loose or glue it down.  Due to possible heat issues when used, I recommend using a higher-temperature filament like ABS.

Warning: With any large-diameter tool connected to a drill the speed should be reduced.  A 3" diameter cutting tool requires 500 RPM or less depending on what it is cutting.  Since this is sandpaper I would think 500 RPM would be a good place to start when setting the speed.  Always wear eye protection and inspect the parts regularly.
