My wife asked if I could make her a pencil case for her embroidery pencils. I said “Sure. How many pencils?”
She replied, “160! And can you make it so I can see all of the colors?”
Here’s what I came up with.
I mounted it on an old spool that I made drawers for (Not included here.)
She’s happy, I’m happy!
Each piece prints separately. I added keyways so that the holes will line up (not shown on the cross section picture, but they are in the .stls.) I glued the sections.
The connector screws into the middle section. I used 8-32 x ½" screws and metal inserts for the female threads(2 required).
I used PETG, but any filament will do. I added the connector so that it could be printed without using supports.
