Desktop/countertop side splash trash bin

This is a desktop trash can I use near the 3D printer. It is designed to hug the side splash of the countertop on my desk area. The height and width of the side splash should be customizable via openscad or the 'customizer' app here. The main section holds 3d printing trash, and the upper section has two compartments, where I have a set of pliers and a piece of paper towel.
