Modified Kinematic Mount Valley Side

Love Jamie's kinematic mount, but had no luck keeping more than 1 washer in place. I added a hole for an M3 screw.

Printed in Jessie PLA, 0.2 mm layers, 0.4 mm nozzle. Standard infill and perimeter settings, we'll see how they hold up. I have plenty of places that I want to use these, not just the LowRider3 I am building.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

I added a 2.5 mm hole through the “valley” mount for an M3 screw to hold 1 or 2 washers. I used these screws: https://www.mcmaster.com/91294A130/ and these washers: https://www.mcmaster.com/91090A104/.

The screws I chose do not stick out of the back with one washer, but do reach almost all the way through the piece. The washers I selected are just barely captured by the screw head but they are held firmly so far.

Using one washer, things snap together nicely and stay in place pretty well, but I am not sure that it would hold a tool that drags on the workpiece in place. Two washers create a much firmer hold. I can pull the two sides apart with my hands with two washers installed but it takes some effort.

Thanks for the effort Jamie, and thanks for the original idea Doug Joseph.
