Drill Jig for Adjustable Shelf Pegs

This DJ (Drill Jig) allows you to evenly and repeatably drill holes for adjustable shelf support pegs. By using the scribe slots on either end you can drill additional sets of holes in the line with equal spacing.

1. Clamp the DJ onto the work piece flat against the two hard indexes.
2. Scribe a mark through the slot in the leading end of the DJ.
3. Drill the locations you need.
4. Unclamp and slide the DJ up until the scribe mark is visible in the slot on the trailing edge.
5. Repeat 1-4 until you have all the holes you need.
6. Move to the next work piece and repeat using the mirrored starting position.
