Hardware required:

  • 1x 5015 fan
  • 4xM3x8 bolts, for the SKR board
  • 2xM3x25 for the 5015 part fan
  • 2xM3x20 for the fan mount to the main bracket
  • 2xM3x16 for the Din rail mounts, rear
  • 2xM3x6 (or M3x8) for the Din rail mounts, front
  • 8xM3x4x5 brass inserts.

Note: the SKR 2 board has 2 fan ports in line with the stepper motor sockets, and either can be used for this purpose (but it will always be on when the board is powered)

Everything just bolts on top of each other.

Model origin

The author remixed this model.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

I have dropped most of the Anycubic Chiron related functions, so it can be used for any printer that have an SKR 2 (or 1.4) mainboard. I was having overheating issues with the X-Y TMC2209 drivers so the original model was a fantastic find, but I only needed the cooling and mounting.

I did slightly strengthen the base.

Added a generic Din rail mount.

The fan cover is unchanged.
