The default Hadley finder is a great start but has no magnification and often falls out of alignment. This mount allows for attaching the popular and cheap Celestron 5x24 finder scope or any scope with a similar base to the telescope upper-tier assembly.

You can find the scope for this mount for about 5$ online, for example:
https://aliexpress.com/item/1005004913591155.html

You will also need:

  1. M4 10mm socket head screw - 4
  2. M4 16mm socket head screw - 2
  3. M4 nut - 2

Printing:

  1. print with the flat surface down, no supports are needed.
  2. Layer height 0.3mm or less
  3. Recommended 3 walls and 3 top and bottom layers.

Assembly:

  1. Disassemble the finder scope from its base
  2. Use the 10mm screws to attach the base to the mount.
  3. Use the 16mm screws and nuts to attach the mount to the telescope, tighten the screws until the mount is solidly attached to the telescope.
  4. Reattach the finder scope to its base.

Note!
This was only tested on a metric Hadley, it might not fit on the imperial one.
