Updated on 11/26/23: Added more support where the bottom of the roller tray meets the coupling.  I also modified the nipple on the roller and the Square Key Peg to be a little more snug.

I recently got a K1 to replace my E3P. I wanted to replace the spool holder with a rolling one, but didn't like some of the options available. I designed this new roller, taking some ideas from the roller I designed for the E3P, with the main focus on functionality and strength.

The roller has a nipple on the end to fit a 608ZZ Bearing, and has a square hole internally with vents on the corners to allow for air to escape when trying to assemble/disassemble it.

Assembly should be straight forward, when you put the roller into the holder itself, it's easier to put the bearing first, and then put the nipple of the roller into the hole. The open side is tight, but with a little pressure and it'll pop right in.

3D PRINTING SETTINGS

I used Creality Print to slice the model, so keep in mind that these are the settings that worked for me and YMMV.

The Spool Holder is oriented standing up with the coupler on the bed, this allows for the least amount of support needed, with only one larger support for the top. You'll need two of the Roller file to make the whole roller. Tree supports are optional for the roller, I used them to make sure the top printed properly. If you trust your bridge settings, then you can probably skip the supports for the roller. The Square Key Peg, is printed flat.
