A compact handlebar clap to mount the Garmin AMPS Rugged Mount https://buy.garmin.com/en-GB/GB/p/89575 (part no. 010-11654-01) for devices such as Garmin Montana, Garmin Monterra, Garmin GPSMAP 276. (see compatible list on Garmin's website). It mounts to handlebars with 28mm diameter.

It's designed to be as close to the handlebars as possible to maximise the view of the road/instruments. I've tested it on our two BMW F800GS' on a trip through Europe. The two mounts performed faultlessly. The mounts were printed in PETG. You'll need some bolts, washers and nuts to complete the install (and obviously the GPS and the AMPS mount)

Print Settings

Printer Brand:Prusa
Printer: i3 MK3
Rafts: No
Supports: No

Notes:
Our mounts have been printed with Prusa PETG in black to match the mount. They're printed with the flat side down on the bed - right hand as viewed at the GPS.
Please note! This mount is for having the GPS in a landscape orientation. I never considered that people would like the GPS in portrait orientation, so sadly this orientation is not included in this design.

Post-Printing

Finishing and assembly.
The mount needs a little bit of touching up with knife/sandpaper/file after the print. I also recommend that you drill through all the holes to make sure the bolts fit well. You need two M5 bolts, with a washer and a nut for each. The length of the bolt needs to be about 42mm (without the head). I recommend stainless steel allen or Torx head bolts and Nyloc style locking nuts. You might need to press the nuts in before clamping on the handlebars, or alternatively you can use a longer bolt to reach the nut outside of its recess.
