Micro Minimal Spool Holder

Introducing the latest generation of spool holders for 5/16" bolt systems.

This spool holder has been designed to:

• Fit virtually all 1kg spools
• self center
• print as fast as possible
• use as little material as possible
• be able to print without supports
• withstand repeated heating and cooling cycles 
• remain strong under tension
• function without bearings

PRINT ALL PARTS FLAT

Designed with PETG in mind. Highly recommended use of glue stick when printing main body. Meant to function using 2 identical ‘free’ nuts however, ive included a stopper nut to be used on one side if thats more your thing. Suggested use of supports for bridging span on main body, although not necessary. Set to 4 walls on a .4mm nozzle.

Full assembly consists of:

1 - Main body

2 - Nuts

2 - 608 (skate) bearings 

Bearings are optional, although very much encouraged, EXCEPT for filaments such as TPU as the lack of friction may cause unwanted unrolling. 

In a perfect world, you can print one in for every roll you have, although they're easy enough to swap ive been using the same clear one pictured constantly. That thing has been used, abused, and has yet to fail me. Enjoy!
