Drill Press Dust Collector

This model includes a column clamp that supports a 2 ½ “ flexible hose on the vertical column of a drill press, a dust collection nozzle, and a 2 ½ ” to 4" hose connector.

The column clamp is printed in four parts: 1 instance of the column clamp, 2 instances of the hose clamp, and 1 instance of the knob. The hose clamps are screwed onto the column clamp using #6 screws and the knob is mounted using a ¼ " hex-head bolt and nut. A worm-screw clamp is threaded through the slot in the column clamp and used to mount this on the vertical column of the drill press. 

A 2 ½ " hose is threaded through the hose clamp and connected to the nozzle on one end and a 2 ½ ” to 4" hose connector on the other end. The hose connector ends are tapered to fit the hose and a quick disconnect.

The nozzle floats and is positioned by adjusting the length of the hose and the position of the column clamp. Magnets could be added for a metal table or an arm, with spring clamp, for a wooden table.
