Mercedes Benz W123 300C/D/T Gas Tank Vent Bell

When I was checking the vent line for the fuel tank on my W123 I noticed that mice had chewed away a good amount of the flexible bell that points downward to prevent debris from entering the vent line under the chassis.

This is a friction fit on the black 90 degree elbow on the semi-check valve that equalizes the pressure in the fuel tank. This valve is important, as a clogged valve will lead to the fuel pump creating a vacuum inside the fuel tank, and the fuel tank crushing in on itself.
