This mount is for this LED rear bike light with brake indicator from Fischer. The light runs on battery and has an accelerometer to turn on more LEDs when you hit the brakes. Cars and other bike riders keep more distance to you with this if you use your brakes. I do not always want to turn on the front light on my bike during the day but I would like to always have a brake light.

The light comes with a mount that is mainly suitable for mounting it to your seat post. I wanted to mount it over the existing rear light on my ebike. The light has a mount like a flash for the hot shoe on a camera. I noticed that the screws on the existing rear light on my bike had an excess length of about 5 mm so I made the baseplate 3 mm thick. The center to center distance of the M4 screws for the rear light on my bike is 50 mm. So this was easy to mount on my bike and I needed no extra hardware. I printed the mount in black PETG. I used organic supports inside the hot shoe groove. Removing the supports was easy with a knife and a pair of needle-nose pliers. I have added the Fusion 360 project file and and a step file in case you want or have to adapt it to your needs.
