This model provides a convenient and efficient way to store and access various cordless drills under a shelf or a hanging cabinet.
It is a simple, practical, easy to print, and nice looking solution as it saves space, reduces clutter, and improves the visibility and accessibility of the drills.
I'm using it to store my various Makita cordless drills (DDF456, DTD153, DF331D).
Printing:
Printed upright, standing in the small ring at the front. I've used a brim to provide good heatbed adhesion. Otherwise, no special requirements. No supports needed. Printed mine in PLA, consumes around 80g of filament.
Mounting:
The design includes two screw-holes, which sould be plenty to hold the weight.
You can also use adhesive tape, which I would only recommend for temporary mounting / testing positions.
Make sure you leave some space against the wall so you can leave the drill or screwdriver bits mounted when you put them in.
