Staghorn Fern Plaque

This is a project I did for my girlfriend to hang and display her staghorn fern. The trough catches any drips after watering. Meant to be hung on a single sturdy nail or screw after affixing the printed parts to a backing material.

My Build

• The Polycarbonate sheet I used measures 470mm x 205mm x 8.5mm. 
• I glued on the parts using gel CA glue. 
• Drilled a hole in the backing material aligned with the one in the knob part using a 3/8" or 10mm bit.

Print Settings

• Printed in PETG at .2mm layer height
• Print the trough as oriented in the STL
  No supports
• Print the knob rotated so that the knob is pointing straight up
  Used tree supports touching build plate only
