I print this model upright with the holes facing upward. I also enable supports and add a brim to keep it from getting knocked loose during printing. The chamfered edges of the pipes need to be as free from defects as possible. The pipes also need to be airtight. Even then, it takes a bit of practice to get a feel for the blowing pressure and angle needed to get sound from the pipes. Here's this bad boy in action:

This model is built from scratch, but mimics the form factor of pfh's excellent viking panpipes. This time the note pitches and order were optimized for Christmas mayhem.
