DO NOT USE AS TOURNIQUET IN AN EMERGENCY UNTIL PROPERLY TESTED

NOT A PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL DEVICE

My printer is down, I haven't been able to test any of the recent models I've uploaded but putting them out for input and also so you guys can have a base to work from.

Please, before using these or carrying them, run tests to see their strength, I would also test these using different materials like belts, ripped shirts, triangle bandages etc., to see if the retaining mechanism is working. (Never use string or cord as the tourniquet material, this would cut through the limb, material should be 2-4in wide)

Please send any feedback so I can make this as safe and reliable.

A tourniquet stick designed to be used with whatever cloth or strap you have on hand in the case of an emergency. This is by no means a replacement to a proper tourniquet that is purpose built. I built this because I can carry many of these and they aren't as bulky as full purpose built tourniquets.

The design is indented to have 550 cord tied into one of the holes, the tourniquet stick can then be slid under whatever material is being used as the tourniquet with the cloth or strap in the notch. Once the tourniquet is tight you can use the 550 cord to hold it in place.
