Enjoy this peaceful Zen Garden! It's been a great project creating this and I'm curious what you all think :)
All pieces print support-free in the orientation you download them in.
The plant component and rock moat were inspired by Jacob Cardwell's Zen Garden design, a great model.
Zen garden - The main body of the garden, designed for limited material and maximum space. Dimensions are 210mm x 210mm. The floor is 1.2mm thick, so if you have enough top/bottom layers then this part can print with 0% infill.
Torii - This is a separate piece from the main body, optional of course. You can either print it all as 1 piece, or in 2 pieces + super glue. I made it in two pieces in order to add some color flair.
Rake (Classic) - If you're having issues with the spikes on the rake, it may help to reduce the temperature or increase the fan.
Rake (Circle) - Same comment here. Also, this prints in two pieces in order to maintain support-free printing. It can either be snapped together or with super glue depending on your printer's calibration. This is used for the classic circle pattern.
Sweeper - For this and the other tools, a brim may help if you're having issues. But the function of this tool is to clean the sand and reset.
Zen Ball - Print two of the zen ball - half.stl and glue them together. If the seam doesn't look as good as you'd like, lightly sanding the flat side of each half may help.
Other Comments
In the back right corner there is a cavity of space where I added an artificial plant. This space can be used for anything you'd like of course, or you can fill it with rocks/sand like the rest of the exterior.
This is the sand I used from Amazon, I do recommend as it's nice and fine and isn't dusty.
The rocks in the exterior I bought from my local At Home store, but there are plenty of options out there.
