Spirograph Zen Garden

I think most people have seen the spirograph toys as a kid.  You use the interlocking wheels, some pen and paper and make really satisfying designs.  Have fun with this Zen Garden mashup of that Idea.  There is a geared track under the lip of the main body,  and there are multiple wheel sizes you can print out.  Assemble the main body by joining the base ring and base using 6 of the pegs.  This will create the track for the gears to ride in.  Print out a sandDrag, screw, and gearKnob, these can be transferred between the different gears.  I preferred the look of the fine dag.  The different gears will make designs with different amounts of points, and the different hole positions will vary the design for each ratio.  

I used white sand, but the contrast is a little hard to see in pictures.  

Each gear will orbit around the main ring a certain amount of times depending on the gear ratios.
