This is a compact bottle to take a small quantity of the oval-ish PrEP pills from Ratiopharm and other manufacturers with you.
I kept forgetting my PrEP bottle when going on short trips where I would be away from home for a couple of days, so I made this case that allows me to always keep a small quantity of the medicaments in my bag, already packed up so I do not have to think about it.
The lid has detents to keep it in place and a groove for a 51mm long O-ring, but you can probably get away with a 50mm long one. Both square and round cross-section O-rings should work. The groove is 0.75mm wide. An O-ring is not required for the lid to stay in place securely.
The tabs that hold the lid require using a Filament with very good layer adhesion, to prevent delamination in the parts that flex when taking the lid off and replacing it.
The model has a small groove that ensures the layer start is always placed in the same place. To make sure it is also used as the layer start point, select “sharpest corner” in your slicer as preferred start point.
It happens quite rareley, but sometimes pills that are put in the container sideways like to get stuck, but usually just shaking the bottle / case a little takes care of this
Obviously, having medicaments in contact with 3d printed objects is probably a bad idea, so if you decide you want to print and use this, be aware that you do this at your own risk. Another concern is moisture, you may want to place a small medical grade desiccant pack in the container and add an o-ring to the lid.
