Introducing the Battery Buddy: Your Recycling Sidekick!
Are you tired of old batteries cluttering your space, unsure of how to dispose of them responsibly? Say hello to the Battery Buddy, your trusty companion for eco-friendly battery recycling.
Battery Buddy is a jumbo-sized, D-cell-shaped container designed to make recycling used batteries a breeze. Standing at approximately 11cm tall, it's spacious enough to hold plenty of spent batteries, giving them a new lease on life through recycling.
What sets Battery Buddy apart is its simple design. The top of this battery-shaped container cleverly mimics the positive pole of a battery, adding a fun and playful touch to the recycling process. Simply popup the "positive pole" cap, drop your used batteries inside, and put it back on – it's that easy!
Not only is Battery Buddy a practical solution for managing old batteries, but it also encourages responsible recycling practices. It's a conversation starter and a friendly reminder to take care of our environment in a lighthearted way.
So, let's join hands with our Battery Buddy and make a commitment to a greener, cleaner future. Recycle your used batteries with a smile, and let's power up sustainability, one battery at a time!
Models
There are three types of Battery Buddy to chose from.
With Recycle Logo and "Battery Recycling" words under it,
with Recycle Logo only,
and a Clean Model to use it the way you want.
There are in .3mf and .stl files as well.
Attention for .3mf files !!
Don't Forget to separate the objects before slice 'em ! If you don't know what I'm talking about download the .stl files to be safe.
Printing
Print it in "normal mode" as there is nothing special to care about. 3 walls and 4 bottom layers are preferred. Infill any above 15% are preferred also.
You can also change filament color at a height, a bit above the logo, that gives more cool look to your Battery Buddy.
Final Touch
The cap of the Battery Buddy is the thing that gives realism and catches the eye.
I used a silver spray paint to give that metal shiny look you see at the photos. But a silver metallic or even light gray filament works as well.
Happy printing !
Have fun and enjoy :)
