Plant Stake Caps and Clips

Description:

Caps and clips that attach to plant stakes to provide easy tie points for string or twine. Used to help hold up plants like cherry tomatoes with twine and a stake when you don't have or want to use a plant cage.

Notes:

This design works with 10.8mm plant stakes. The ones I used were a dark green colour and purchased from Home Depot in Canada. This was the first year I used them and they lasted for the entire season. They were used on potted cherry tomatoes, and held up even when the plants got quite large (see picture). Even the clip style stayed in place and didn't slide down.

Assembly:

The topper is simply pushed onto the top of the stake. The clip can be snapped on anywhere along the length of the stake.

Print Instructions:

Both the topper and clip can be printed with no supports. Below are the settings I used with my prints.
