Fits nice in the 1cm hole and would probably hold on its own, but I still added a drop of superglue to it.
I don't get scratching noices, but before I placed the guide I "polished" the inside with a harder wool thread (packingband), also the hole ends right over my X axis, so it doesn't need to pull on all sides.

How is the noise?
@JohannesB_187148 I've found that the printer is already very quiet without the lack enclosure, so it only improves the situation. Make sure that along with the enclosure place the printer on a dense rubber gym mat and a concrete paving stone. This reduces vibration and hence noise.
Hey, I think I´ve failed to word my question correctly.
I´ve built a LACK enclosure and installed the enlarged standard filament guide (9mm innner diameter) and I am having huge problems with noise and filament dragging. Currently thinking of just drilling a new hole right in the middle of the top table and moving the Spool Holder there, as I only use one spool at a time anyway.
Do you think putting this guide in with the tube will solve those issues?
Thanks for your time!
@heidelnerd I like the colour, really striking.
@Macany Nice!, that's a pretty sweet filament colour too.
Made: https://www.ekomb.cz/
recycled PET bottle from south of Bohemia (CZE).
Does what I need it to, but did not fit together very well. I had to ream out the hold a bit to make it friction fit.
Thanks Feday, i will review the model and check whether i allowed any tollerance and upload a new model as necessary From memory it was a tight fit for me also. (edited)
Does exactly what it should...
