Remixed Preston Single Channel Iris Holder by DIT Eduardo Eguia

This is a remix of the fantastic Preston single-channel iris holder by Digital Imaging Technician Eduardo Eguia. There is no website to link to for this item, but I have linked to Eduardo's IMDb page. This has been posted here with his permission. Thanks Eduardo!

There are a few variations here:

Single Channel Standard is meant for a regular, un-modified Preston single-channel that doesn't have an external antenna option.  My remix has removed the bongo tie hole and closed off the sides to increase the durability and weight of the unit.  The base has also been slightly redesigned and enlarged.  Works with standard sized batteries only.

Single Channel External Antenna is meant for a single-channel Preston iris control that has had the external antenna modification.  This remix widens the upper supports to allow the antenna to fit within the iris holder correctly.  Works with standard sized batteries only.

Single Channel External Antenna Switch is meant for a single-channel Preston iris control with the external antenna mod that has a large toggle switch, as opposed to a small flush nub-style switch.  See photos for more info.  Works with standard sized batteries only.

Please note that for all of these models, you will need to remove any cheese plates or aftermarket accessories attached to the Preston in order to ensure a proper fit.

PRINT INSTRUCTIONS:

All models were printed with Prusament PETG using Input Shaping on the Prusa MK4.  0.20mm speed with 50% infill (for added weight and stability).  No supports required.  Make sure your filament is extra dry for maximum finishing quality.
