DSRL scanning / DSLM scanning of photographic film gives much better results than using a cheap film scanner or a flatbed scanner. The usual method using a copy stand and a film holder is quit cumbersome though, since the alignment is time consuming and you will move the film holder each time you forward the film in your film holder.
I use the EFH (Essential Film Holder by Andrew Clifforth https://clifforth.co.uk - I am in no relationship with Andrew and I am not involved in any way with his film holder, I am merely a customer who purchased two of his holders).
This print design is a camera stand that you can place directly on top of your EFH. The camera will now rest directly on the stand and on the holder, the setup is done in seconds and the camera is always at the correct distance to your film (if you chose the correct print files, read the instruction.pdf for further information) and it will be always parallel to the film. Also you will not face any issues with stray light.
